Riley Whiting, Winchester, Conn., 1830, 30-hour time/strike wood movement carved columns & splat shelf clock, short case
CONDITION:
Refinished mahogany veneered case in good condition with small piece missing on the right foot. Tablet is a replacement. Original painted dial is clean. Hands are original. Problem with this clock is the movement. It is a Riley Whiting movement, but it belongs in a taller case. It will run in this case, but the pendulum hangs low. Clean label inside case. Ht. 28.5"
